My Goals
In attending Cal Ploy, Pomona I have gained friends and an in-depth knowledge of information about the Apparel Industry from hands on courses such as AMM 454A traveling to MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas, NV and course AMM 310 where I was asked to create a line of clothing and represent them on line sheets created in Adobe Illustrator. I would like to continue networking with classmates and faculty as well be a part of a respected Cal State University as Cal Ploy Pomona.
While attending the Apparel Merchandising and Management Department of the college of Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona I have learned how to use adobe illustrator, create line sheets, marker making, spreading, wholesaling, Intuit point of sale technology and was a manager for three on campus venues (Farm Store, Wearhouse, and Bldg45.com) where we sell the merchandise that we buy from MAGIC or have sourced from other regional Market Centers.
As a person I hope to grow as a leader and obtain information on how to effectively build great teams. AMM 499 - Leadershipe course is helping me to accomplish growing as a leader and gainin tools to use when developing a team to maximizes group efforts in completing projects.
Having graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona I would like to obtain a career in a well established company that I could develope my skills and grow with the company so I may stay for a long period of time. I would like my career to be in the Apparel industry specifically merchandising since it's my passion.

In taking all the Apparel Merchadinsing and Management courses at Cal Poly, Pomona has helped me to obtain a four year degree, network with people around the University and people that already work in the Apparel industry.
